A life-long “independent” woman suffering burnout from a career in sports medicine, Jenn Gaudet never imagined that enrolling in a Health and Life Coach training program at Health Coach Institute (HCI) would be the ingredient for her own personal development.
Throughout her career, Jenn learned to present her professional self as strong and unflappable. Showing weakness in her very masculine field of work could ruin her reputation. Asking for support? Unthinkable!
After participating in an HCI webinar, Jenn recognized a big part of her career in medicine was about helping people, so she enrolled and whipped up a plan to make coaching the focus of a new career working for herself.
But Jenn never realized that helping herself was going to be a key ingredient to finding success on her new path. She was already working as a coach–maxing out her earnings at $10k a month–when an HCI Success Coach challenged her to become vulnerable and receive the support her HCI community wanted to provide for her so deeply.
By breaking down those habits of self-preservation from her former career, Jenn created space to develop critical skills for coaching. She had 5-star business skills. She needed to have vulnerability and community support before she could level up in earnings and success.
